ServiceWeb Challengers

Mobile app developmentfrom idea to launch and support.

We build iOS and Android apps for the jobs your customers or staff do every day. Each app comes with reliable APIs, secure sign-in, notifications and a clear release plan.

In plain terms

Great apps do one job brilliantly, not ten adequately.

The apps that survive on a phone are ruthless about focus. We help you pick the two or three tasks that justify your icon's place on the home screen, and we build those to feel instant, then resist the feature creep that buries the value under tabs.

We build cross-platform by default with Flutter or React Native, so iOS and Android ship together from one codebase: a genuine native build only when a platform capability demands it. Your budget goes into polish and reliability, not into paying twice.

An app is a product operation, not a project. Store review, crash monitoring, OS upgrades and app-store policy changes arrive forever. We stay on after launch with a release rhythm that keeps the app healthy, because an app nobody maintains is a one-star review waiting to happen.

  1. 01

Cross-platform delivery: one codebase, both stores

  2. 02

Secure sign-in, offline behaviour and push notifications done properly

  3. 03

App Store and Play Store submission managed for you

  4. 04

Crash monitoring and a steady release rhythm after launch

What we deliver

Everything between idea and installed app.

Scoped to your audience: customer apps and staff tools need different levels of polish and integration.

01

App discovery & prototyping

User journeys, screen flows and a clickable prototype that validates the concept before full build.

02

Cross-platform development

Flutter or React Native builds delivering both iOS and Android from one maintained codebase.

03

API & backend integration

The secure services behind the app: accounts, sync, payments and content: designed for unreliable mobile networks.

04

Notifications & engagement

Push notifications, deep links and messaging configured to be useful, so users keep the app installed.

05

Store submission & release management

Listings, review guidelines, signing, staged rollouts and updates handled for both stores.

06

Monitoring & improvement

Crash reporting, analytics and a scheduled release cycle that keeps the app current as operating systems move.

How we work

From sketch to store in four phases.

Mobile projects fail between prototype and store. Our phases close exactly that gap.

  1. Define & prototype

We agree the core tasks, map every screen state and validate a clickable prototype with real users.

  2. Build the core

Authentication, the primary workflow and sync working end to end on real devices: early, not last.

  3. Test & polish

Device-lab testing across screen sizes, offline states and interruptions, plus store guideline review.

  4. Release & operate

Staged store rollout, crash monitoring and a monthly release cadence that keeps ratings healthy.

Before you start

Two realities worth facing early.

01 · Platform

Decide what the app must do offline

Mobile networks fail in lifts, basements and rural areas, and users judge an app by how it behaves there. Deciding early which features must work offline shapes the architecture more than any other choice, and it is far cheaper to design for it than to bolt it on.

  • List the actions that must survive zero signal
  • Decide how data resolves when sync resumes
  • Plan sign-in that doesn't trap users out
  • Agree which platform versions you must support
02 · After launch

Budget for the app's second year, not just its first

Operating systems release annually, store policies change and devices churn. A successful app carries a running cost of releases and monitoring. We will give you an honest annual figure during scoping so there are no surprises when version two of iOS lands.

  • Annual OS updates require planned release windows
  • Crash and review monitoring with a human response
  • Store listings, privacy labels and policy updates maintained
  • A roadmap driven by usage data, not assumptions
FAQ

Questions clients usually ask.

Straight answers about how this work is scoped, delivered and supported.

Ask something else
01Native or cross-platform, which should we choose?

Cross-platform with Flutter or React Native suits most business apps and halves ongoing maintenance. We recommend true native only when a platform-specific capability genuinely demands it.

02Can you add an app to our existing website systems?

Yes. We build against your existing APIs where they're adequate, and extend them where they're not: the app and your web platform stay in sync.

03Who owns the code and the store accounts?

You do, unconditionally. Source code, developer accounts and signing keys are set up in your name from day one and handed over with documentation.

04What if we only need one platform now?

Fine, we build the codebase so the second platform remains a release decision, not a rebuild.

Got an app idea with a real job to do?

Tell us who will use it and what it must replace or improve. We will pressure-test the idea honestly and map the cheapest path to a validated release.
