Application cloud architecture
Map compute, database, storage, queues and external services around the application workload.
ServiceWeb Challengers
We design and deploy web applications on AWS with the application, database, storage, background jobs, email, security and operational workflow considered as one system.
We use AWS pragmatically: EC2 or managed compute where it fits, RDS for managed relational data, S3 and CloudFront for assets, SES for email, and queues or scheduled processing when workloads need separation.
The application and infrastructure are designed together. Deployment paths, secrets, backups, logs and recovery procedures are part of the build rather than tasks left for the week before launch.
For existing systems, we can migrate or simplify hosting in stages, preserving the working application while reducing avoidable risk and manual deployment work.
AWS services chosen for practical need, not novelty
Application and infrastructure responsibilities documented together
Secure deployment, secrets and backup workflow
Monitoring and recovery designed before production incidents
We connect development and operations so the same architecture can be built, deployed and supported.
Map compute, database, storage, queues and external services around the application workload.
Provision and configure EC2/RDS/S3/CloudFront/SES and related services appropriate to the system.
Clear separation of staging/production configuration, credentials and deployment access.
Secure object storage and CDN delivery for uploads and static assets where appropriate.
Database and application backup routines with restoration steps that are actually testable.
Logs, health checks, alerts and runbooks so production does not depend on one person remembering the setup.
The goal is a cloud setup your team can understand and operate.
Map application traffic, data, storage, email, background work and current deployment constraints.
Choose the smallest sensible AWS architecture and define environments, access and backup strategy.
Set up infrastructure, application configuration and repeatable releases.
Monitor, back up, document and improve based on real production behaviour.
Production infrastructure should live in accounts your organisation controls, with least-privilege access for delivery teams.
Backups, queues, email and deployments need clear failure behaviour before launch.
Straight answers about how this work is scoped, delivered and supported.
Ask something else →No. We prefer the smallest architecture that meets the reliability and growth requirements and avoid unnecessary services.
Yes. We can assess the existing hosting, plan the database/files/application move and stage the cutover to minimise operational risk.
We configure application-relevant IAM, access, network and secret practices and can review the environment for avoidable exposure.
Yes. This can continue under our maintenance/support service with monitoring, updates and operational improvements.
